LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve, St. Charles

The event offers a competitive 4-mile CARA Certified run on a USATF certified course on the Fox River Trail Runners Circuit and a 2-mile scenic walk suitable for all age groups. Runners and walkers can pre-register at www.signmeup.com The cost is $20 for walk. The fee for the run is $28 through July 1 with a $3 pre-registration fee discount to CARA & Fox River Trail Runners members. Event day registration is $25 for walk and $30 for run; no discounts apply. Children age 9 and under walk free with parent. Participants are encouraged to help further by collecting pledges with pledge form available here. Pledges can be made electronically through this webpage.

ATTENTION LONG DISTANCE RUNNERS: If you are looking for a special way to help in theNew Year, please consider making a donation of $100 or more to Lazarus House to get a 50% discount on your registration to the Sept 22, 2013 Fox Valley Marathon Races. Just tell us that your donation is in connection with the marathon and give us your email address.  We'll then send you a discount code to use when registering. Runners must be at least 18 years old to be eligible to participate in the race.
